I-185 Extension to I-10 in Florida?

Posted by AUNewser on April 18th, 2007

I was reading the OANow.com website this morning and noticed an article regarding a possible extension of Interstate 185 from Columbus all the way down to Interstate 10 in the Florida Panhandle. I know this doesn’t directly deal with Auburn, but it would be beneficial to not only Auburn, but anyone in East Alabama! This would be great for beach trips to Destin and Panama City as it would greatly reduce the travel time!

Site Updates

Posted by AUNewser on April 3rd, 2007

Hello from Auburn…

I’ve been working on the site tonight and wanted to let you know of a few site updates I’m working on….

First… I’ve added two pages… Restaurants & Weekly Entertainment. I hope to be able to provide a continuous listing of eating establishments and local watering holes.

My thoughts behind these pages are… If someone visited a site and they haven’t been to Auburn in a while (or ever), the items they would initially be interested in would be latest news, where to eat, and where to relax. Welcome to AuburnAlabama.info :-)

More updates to come soon… If you have any suggestions of pages that I might want to add to this site, please feel free to use the Feedback page and drop me a line!

Enjoy the rest of your week! –AUNewser
